منطقه حفاظت شده کوه کشار

  تاریخچه در سال ۱۳۸۹ این منطقه بسیار تماشایی، جزء مناطق حفاظت شده در ایران ثبت شد و در حال حاضر به عنوان بزرگ ترین کانون زیستی در جنوب ایران، گردشگران و توریست های زیادی به آن جا می روند. نقشه و معرفی بخش های مختلف مساحت منطقه دلنشین حفاظت شده کوه کشار تقریبا 68750 هکتار است. کم ترین ارتفاع این منطقه از سطح دریا ۷۰ متر و بیشترین ارتفاع آن  1678 متر است. منطقه کوه زیبای کشار در ضلع جنوبی دارای دشت های هموار و تپه های بسیاری است. بیشتر قسمت های تشکیل دهنده این منطقه کوهستانی است زیرا در این منطقه میزان بارندگی بسیار کم است و بارش باران در طی ۱ سال به ۱۲۰ میلی متر می رسد. با این که بارش باران در این منطقه کم است، اما پوشش گیاهی در آن جا بسیار متنوع و گونه هایی مانند انواع آکاسیا، کهور، پرخ، قیچ، گیشدر، کنار، استبرق، تج مهر خوش، ژیمتوکارپوس و گز را در خود جای داده است. این منطقه به دلیل تنوع زیستگاهی و اقلیمی دارای حیوانات زیادی از جمله شغال، کبک، جبیر، هما، قوچ و میش، تیهو، کل و بز، زنبور خورها، پلنگ، گربه وحشی، کفتار، سسک ها، چلچله ها، دارکوب، مارمولک، افعی، روباه معمولی، تشی، خرگوش، گر
